Discussion question for February 3, 2023.

The disciples appointed elders in every church (Acts 14:23), Paul instructed Timothy to appoint elders (2 Tim 2:2), and Titus to appoint elders in every town (Titus 1:5).  What do you understand the role of elder to be?  Who have been your elder role models?  What are the qualifications for elder, and how well do you meet them?  When and where do you act as an elder?  What gets in the way of acting in this role for you?  How can God raise up more elders for His kingdom?
