In our culture there is an assumed link between a persons job and their identity.  We ask someone: “So what do you do?” as a way of finding out more about who they are.

Whether prompted by a career transition, retirement, health or the economy – what is the right relationship between your personal ministry (identity) and your current job description or title (occupation)?
