Discussion question for April 3, 2020.

“For all the promises of God are YES in [Christ Jesus]” – 2 Cor 1:20. When are you able to claim a promise of God and proclaim it as already done? How do you reconcile a promise you believe with a conflicting current outcome? Who gets to decide the more powerful promise? For instance, Psalm 91 promises supernatural protection but John 16 promises trouble in this world. Are there loopholes to God’s promises? Where do you base your faith and confidence?
