Discussion question for October 5, 2018.

God gave the Levitical priests Urim and Thummim as tools to inquire of the Lord.  What is your recollection about the process of casting lots?  How does this practice bring people closer to God?  What alternative do you have to casting lots for determining God’s mind?  How have you used the “reading of circumstances” as a form of Urim and Thummim?  How would you counsel a young or mature Christian regarding lots?
