Are diseases, such as cancer and diabetes, the result of things in the physical realm, the emotional realm, or the spiritual realm?  How do you address disease in your life, based on this understanding?  What can you do to help someone that is struggling with disease?

What does the Bible teach about the ability of the enemy to read our thoughts?  How does this inform your defensive strategy against him?  What are demons?  Do they have personhood (continuity of identity)?  What role(s) do they play in your life and in the world?

We talked about the power we have in exercising our free will, and yet we face temptation and trials all the time.  How much power does the devil have over our free will?  Where does that power come from? What can we do about it?  How would the answers to these questions change your life?

God chooses to constraint His power according to our free will, so what is He waiting for you to do?  What happens if we never get around to doing His will?  Does God ever do things for our best interest, even when we are not on board with it?  What do you think God might be waiting for us to do?

There are many names used for God in the Bible, particularly in the Old Testament.  Why is that the case?  What benefit can you find for knowing God’s various names?  How can you use the different names in the way you live, pray, and communicate with others?  What name would you use to describe God?

Political upheaval in Tunisia was followed quickly by protests in Egypt, Jordan, Algeria and Libya.  What impact does this have on you?  How should we respond as Christians though we are half a world away?  What prayer strategy do we employ?  How can we be a shining light in a mixed up world?

The first part of discernment is to recognize good from evil which is important for sanctification.  But we are called to be Christ-like which requires discernment of another person’s preferable future.  How can you train yourself to see the potential in another?  What can you do to demonstrate that knowledge?  How can you obey “do not judge” while exercising the gift of discernment? What impact would this have on your family, your church, and your community?
