Mark 16:16 says “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved.” What does baptism signify? Have you been baptized? How does infant baptism work? What about being re-baptized, or engaging in the sacrament more than once? What did Jesus mean when He asked the disciples if they were able “to be baptized with the baptism with which I am baptized?”

The disciples asked Jesus to teach them how to pray. What benefits do you get from writing a statement or prayer rather than just speaking it? What impact does a thought (silent) prayer or statement have in the spiritual realm? How do you benefit from a verbalized prayer? When does speaking in tongues and glorifying God make sense to you? Are tongues and worship useful non-verbally? Do these things have varying degrees of effectiveness in the physical and spiritual realms?

No one knows the full extent of the mind of God, but we have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16). Since we have the mind of Christ, what does He want us to do? How do you respond to a special message from Him? When are you called to action? What opportunity might He be giving you besides taking action? How do you participate in what He’s doing without taking responsibility from Him? What is your response when the revelation is confusing or seems incomplete?

What strengths and values did he instill or model to you? How did you incorporate those? How have over-stated values impacted your personality? How has your resistance defined your character?
