Isaiah 40:31 promises that “they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.” What does it mean to you to wait on the Lord? What happens when you fail to wait? What practical steps are involved in waiting? Share an example of when you waited on the Lord. Share a goal you have for waiting on the Lord in the next week, month, or year.

It is easy to be critical of others and judge their actions and motives, but Jesus commands us to not judge others. What is the root of judgment? What happens to others when you judge them? What is the result in you when you engage in judgment? How would you prefer to respond in those situations in which you have been judgmental in the past? How can you overcome a reputation of being critical?

People prioritize values for many different reasons, and each value may be legitimate. For instance, one person may value structure while another values flexibility.
