Discussion question for April 27, 2012.

We read about the outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Acts 2 on the Pentecost Day after Jesus ascended to heaven.  Why wasn’t the Spirit poured out before then?  What was the role of the Spirit before then, and what is His role now? How does one receive the Holy Spirit?
