Calvin Tadema
Calvin Tadema is executive director and founder of Master’s Mind Ministry. He is an intercessor, author, and public speaker, especially on topics of healing prayer, personal identity issues, marriage, and Christian living.
Intercessor
As intercessor, Calvin prays for healing with people. According to Romans 12:2, we are transformed by the renewing of our mind. In that way, healing prayer involves asking the Lord to reveal where the mind is in error, and then listening as He provides truth. As a result, people are changed from the inside out, and they are healed spiritually, emotionally, and physically.
Author
Calvin is a writer and has published many articles and several books on healing prayer and Christian living. He is co-author of Marriage Rx: Prescription for a radical marriage (2013), author of Heal Me, O LORD: The Christian’s handbook to personal wholeness through healing prayer (2014), Learn from Me: Patterns and strategies in transformative healing prayer (2018), and IRREVOCABLE (2021).
Public Speaker
Calvin, and his wife Julie, have been invited to speak and teach for missions, churches, retreats, conventions, and small groups. They enjoy team-teaching, sharing the good news and bringing hope for healing wherever they go. Calvin has been the keynote speaker at many retreats for men or families, as well as a workshop or seminar leader.
Teacher
The spiritual gift of teacher is often indicated in one who loves to study and explain truth. Calvin is regularly teaching in workshops, small groups, and classroom settings. He has a comfortable style that operates best in a question and answer format. He regularly teaches at the adult level, although he has experience with young people and children as well. His favorite opportunity is to teach a group of twenty to thirty how to hear from God and then obey His voice.
Pastor
After spending over twenty years in financial services and business consulting, Calvin felt the call to full time ministry. In 2005 he became an associate pastor at a local community church where he began teaching, preaching, and leading people toward fuller relationship with Jesus. Master’s Mind Ministry began in 2008, and ever since he has been a personal pastor to any who come for guidance and spiritual leadership.
Personal
Calvin and Julie are parents of three children and have nine grandchildren. They make their home in southwest Washington and love to travel. His hobbies include birding, fly fishing, running, and cycling. He has been a Christian all his life, and his family verse is Psalm 16:6. “The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; surely, I have a delightful inheritance.”
